Some brands are created from an idea. MTIFH was created from a journey.
My story didn't begin in the gym. It began long before that—with childhood trauma, growing pains, heartbreaks, and seasons in my early twenties when I was still trying to figure out who I was and where I belonged.
For a long time, I knew how to pour into everybody else. I knew how to show up, love hard, encourage others, and give people the best parts of me. But eventually, I had to look at the woman in the mirror and ask myself a difficult question:
“Why don't I go this hard for myself?”
That question changed something in me.
In 2022, I made the decision to take my healing seriously. For six months, it was me, God, work, school, and the gym. No social media. No contact. No distractions. I locked in because I needed to meet myself again without all the noise.
The gym became more than a place where I worked on my body. It became a place where I worked through me.
Some days I trained with tears in my eyes. Some days the gym felt like church—I was praying, reflecting, releasing, and thanking God for carrying me through things I thought would break me. Other days it felt like a whole concert. The music was loud, my energy was up, and I felt unstoppable.
But no matter what kind of day it was, I kept showing up.
And somewhere between the weights, the sweat, the tears, the prayers, and those conversations with God, I started seeing a different woman in the mirror.
Not just physically.
I started seeing my strength.
My discipline.
My confidence.
My worth.
I started learning what I was capable of while unlearning what I had been conditioned to accept. I learned that healing also meant boundaries. It meant choosing myself. It meant understanding that everything I survived didn't deserve permission to follow me into the woman I was becoming.
And yes—the body started changing too. 😂 There is a different kind of confidence that comes when you look in that mirror and think, “Yeah... I see you.”
But the greatest transformation was happening somewhere nobody else could see.
Within.
That's where MTIFH comes from.
Those letters are personal to me, but they grew into something bigger:
MY TRAINING IN FITNESS HEALING
Because I wasn't simply training my body.
I was training while healing.
Fitness became part of the process God used to help me rebuild myself—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
And one thing I've learned about healing is that once you truly begin, you don't just stop. You keep discovering. You keep learning. You keep unlearning. You keep growing. You keep becoming.
That's why MTIFH stands on three words:
TRAIN. TRANSFORM. HEAL.
TRAIN your body and your mind.
TRANSFORM into the person you know you're capable of becoming.
HEAL from the things that tried to convince you that you couldn't.
MTIFH is for the person who has ever walked into the gym carrying something heavier than the weight they picked up.
It's for the person rebuilding quietly.
The person choosing themselves again.
The person who doesn't have everything figured out but has decided to keep showing up anyway.
This is bigger than activewear.
It's a reminder that you can go through something and still grow through it.
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee.” — Isaiah 43:2 (KJV)
I didn't make it this far because every season was easy. I made it because God was with me through every season.
And I'm still training.
I'm still transforming.
I'm still healing.
This is My Training In Fitness Healing.
